I'm pretty sure some people are not going to be very happy about the existance of this product. It clearly shows that the origin of an Absinthe can not refer to its quality!
Martin Zufanek is an Absinthe lover since quite some time. He explored homeland of Absinthe - Val de Travers and Pontarlier. Quite some years ago, he surprised with the very first high quality Absinthe made in Czech Republic. Now he took the challenge, producing a Blanche Absinthe - very common in Val de Travers. The result clearly proves that only the ingredients quality and ability of the master distiller leads to a quality products - and not its origin! We really like that a lot!

So far I am able to compare this one only to other absinths from Zufanek, who is a well known distiller here in the Czech Republic, but even from my little experience, I am confident to say the quality of this absinthe is well above its price tag. Just by the smell you can tell how high quality this is. The taste is balanced, smooth, and this is definitely a recommended bottle for everyone looking to start with the proper absinthe.
