Distillerie Lemercier

Unfortunately, the Distillerie Lemercier has been going downhill for several years. It is therefore not surprising that the largest distillery in Fougerolles has taken the traditional manufacturer under its nails. This fate also befell the Emile Coulin distillery, which was located just a few meters away. Since then, the products have been produced by the Distillerie Peureux.

Lemercier is one of the last 4 distilleries in Fougerolles. Alain Aureggio recognized very early on that absinthe would become popular again. This can also be seen in the name Abisinthe, because until a few years ago it was forbidden to use the term "Absinthe" in France. Luckily that has changed in the meantime...
