The Golani Distillery launched their first product with this whiskey in 2014 and the Golani Rishon is the first of its kind.
The recipe has been carefully worked out and perfected. The spirits, which are handcrafted in small quantities, mature after distillation for at least 36 months in barrels made of American oak and former Cabernet barrels.
The barrels are stored at 1300 feet above the Sea of Galilee.

The Golani Distillery is a family-run distillery in the beautiful Golan Heights region of Israel.
Founded in 2014 by David and Alona Zibell, the distillery focuses on producing high-quality whiskeys from the region, which reflects the unique terroir of the region. In 2016, on Independence Day, they launched Israel's first whiskey, which marked a milestone for the distillery.
Since then, the line has grown steadily, always respecting the land and community that make their whiskeys possible.
