Absinthe from Germany

It is very likely that absinthe was also produced in Germany in the 19th century. Apart from barely perceptible indications, however, hardly anything is documented about it. However, it is documented that absinthe was imported from France and Switzerland. However, the quantities were hardly worth mentioning.

Today there are more and more distilleries that don't want to oversleep the trend, even in Germany. Mostly the qualities are rather modest. We are therefore concentrating on a few producers who can also hold their own in an international comparison.
