With Eau de Mère, you delve deep into the origins of absinthe history. This special bottling is a modern interpretation of a nearly forgotten original from the early days of absinthe – long before the famous "Prohibition" changed the scene.
As early as the end of the 18th century, clear absinthes were produced alongside the well-known green ones. One of these historical recipes was long considered lost – until it was rediscovered and reinterpreted. This is precisely where Eau de Mère comes in: an authentic reconstruction of a classic Blanche absinthe, deliberately distinct from the more familiar green varieties. For this project, we collaborated with one of the most influential names in the modern absinthe scene: Claude-Alain Bugnon, renowned for his exceptional Blanche absinthes. Together, we created a distillate that combines a historical recipe with contemporary craftsmanship. The result is a clear, elegant absinthe, characterized by its delicate structure and precise herbal aromas. Compared to classic Verte absinthes, it often seems more approachable, yet no less complex. A fascinating contrast that particularly delights connoisseurs. The 2026 edition was produced in two versions: One version was created in the Czech Republic under the Prince d’Absinthe label, the other in Switzerland at the renowned Artemisia distillery. This project thus combines different artisanal approaches, making Eau de Mère a true collector's item. It is best enjoyed classically with cold water – this allows its delicate aromas to unfold gradually. Perfect for those who want to do more than just drink absinthe; they want to experience its history.

Unfortunately, the flower was too conceited, so the prince decided to leave the planet and explore the universe in search of wisdom. As soon as Wormwood found out what had happened, she began to cry and decided to keep her tears in a small bottle as proof of her love for the prince. The scent of her tears was so strong that it slowly spread throughout the universe. As soon as the scent hit the prince's nose, he quickly realized that his beloved flower still loves him and needs him. So he decided to get rid of his human body and return to his love.
