Product information "Absinthe Dubied - Zufanek - 2024 500 ml"
In 1794, Abram-Louis Perrenoud noted a very special formula in his recipe book - the one for the first absinthe!
In fact, back then, it was literally a tonic that was mixed with wine and taken for an upset stomach. The popularity grew steadily and people began to drink this wondrous wormwood tonic without suffering from an upset stomach.
Top dealer Daniel-Henri Dubied became aware of the growing popularity and although he had no experience as a distiller, he bought the recipe from Perrenoud. He hired Perrenoud's son, who had learned the trade from his father. In 1798 Daniel-Henri Dubied, his son and Henri-Louis Perrenoud (Pernod) began to produce the world's first commercial absinthe under the name Dubied Pére et Fils.
---
In March 2018, a shock wave went through the absinthe world when one of the original Dubied Père et Fils bottles was discovered! A bottle from the dawn of absinthe history, before Antarctica was discovered, when the Spanish sold Florida to the United States, when Charles X ruled France and Francis I ruled Bohemia. An era a good 30 years before the famous absinthe drinkers Henri de Toulourse-Lautrec and Vincent van Gogh were born.
This bottle ended up in the Absinthe Museum in Môtiers and has been on display there ever since as the Mona Lisa of the absinthe world.

Zufanek
The Zufanek distillery is a small family business in the whites
Carpathians in the Czech Republic. We've been working since
years with this special distillery because they offer the highest quality and
produce the best absinthe in this country. Go with the gin now
a step towards mixology, which we very much welcome.
Our goal is alcoholic beverages as we like them and
would buy to manufacture. For this reason we use
exclusively our own fruits that we grow on our own soil
grow in the White Carpathians.
All products from this manufacturer
In addition to our Original Slivovitz, we have gradually but also after other fruit brandies such as pear, apricot, cherry Introduced juniper, walnut and met liqueur. In addition, there is Honey infused herbal liqueurs, peppermint schnapps, beer brandies, cask brandies, gin and the first in the Czech Republic distilled absinthe.
Our motto is: "100% natural products" and we are strictly against using artificial flavors or colors. The production quantities are therefore always dependent on the harvest volume.
We are confident that you will love our products as much as we do.
