What happens when Pontarlier's largest distilleries join forces to develop an absinthe? You get a true masterpiece: Pontarlier 2025 – the first recipe developed jointly by the six renowned distilleries to defend and manage the protected designation of origin "Absinthe de Pontarlier."
The traditional distilleries Aymonier, Bourgeois, Guy, Marguet-Champreux, Montrieux, and Les Fils d'Émile Pernot contributed – each with decades of experience, combined in a single bottle. This project was created exclusively for the Absinthiades 2025 and is as unique as the town of Pontarlier itself – the heart of French absinthe culture.
A masterpiece created in collaboration with the finest distillers from Pontarlier
This absinthe was distilled at the renowned Distillerie GUY, one of the oldest active absinthe houses in the world. The result is a classic, clear blanche that impresses with finely balanced herbs, a fresh wormwood note, and a smooth finish. Authentic, elegant – and a piece of living history.
Slowly pour ice-cold water over the absinthe and let yourself be enchanted by the velvety louche effect and aromatic depth. A collaborative work full of character – for connoisseurs, collectors, and gourmets.
