Skin Gin was developed by Martin Birk Jensen in 2014. At the time, Martin was on vacation in Greece and had the dream of a refreshing gin that would stand out from the crowd. Back home, Martin did not let himself be deterred and contacted a gifted local distiller in the Altes Land, near Hamburg. With the botanicals in their luggage and the idea of Skin Gin, they started testing and after 21 samples they finally found the product that is becoming more and more popular today. Even the bottle design had to be brought from Martin's ideas to paper and then around the bottle. A perfection in itself.
