La Clandestine Blanche Intense is bottled at 69% ABV and was launched in 2022 to replace La Capricieuse (72% ABV). This change in strength makes it easier to ship by air and to take on planes (in your checked baggage unless you bought it from an airport shop).
La Clandestine Blanche Intense reveals a very intense aromatic palate and a delicate bitterness in the finish. A "bleue" full of complexity, made from more than 10 plants, this absinthe is made according to the same recipe as its sister la Clandestine Blanche. With a higher alcohol content, Intense is a little less smooth but reveals more aromas. Only natural products are used for the traditional production. For lovers of intense flavors and strong emotions!
The name Capricieuse on the label of La Clandestine Blanche Intense refers to La Capricieuse, the earlier version of this highly concentrated blanche before 2022.
