Product information "Absinthe Grön Opal"
The Grön Opal absinthe (68 %) is based on a French recipe from the 19th century that has been perfected over several years. The result is very refreshing and satisfying to the palate. The great Swedish wormwood, which is harvested on locations where the ground is almost solid limestone rock, really comes through in this classic verte. It has a fragrance that is very cool, green, minty and deep. The colour of Grön Opal comes from herbs that Mikael grows in his garden. While the secret of this absinthe’s complex and delicious taste lies in the rather large bill of only the finest home-grown herbs, the key to the strong louche is the fine balance between Spanish anise and Florence fennel, leaving no need for star anise or other shortcuts.
