Lasala is one of the old spanish Absenta brands, which was already produced before 1936. It is obviously not a high-end Absinthe, but makes a nice refreshing summer drink.

We always recommend it to newbies, who don't want to spend too much money, but still look for something really enjoyable.

The receip contains Wormwood, Fennel and Ysop - but Melissa is most detectable - which I think makes Lasala a very nice refreshing summer drink - and it's a bargain!

Very smoothe. The anise flavor is strong, and no sugar is required. More bitter undertones are revealed as the mixture of water is increased. I like this every bit as much as the Emile 68 (has more bite), and it is a much better value.
